Right. Here you are then. Entry #2 in a very occasional series
of Lady X behind-the-scenes photoblog journal thingies. Almost a whole year
has gone by since the last one, A
Day at the Beach. Has this project really been going on that
long? Well, yes, it has.
|
So anyway, first up -- an equine pop quiz!
Which of the following is not a horse?
|
And the answers are....
Oh the heck with it, I'm going to go ahead and assume that if
you're smart enough to scroll down to here, you probably managed
the pop quiz without too much of a problem and you can easily
spot the horses on your own in the following pics.
So squeeeeze gently with the knees, a bit of encouragement with
the heels, a shake of the reins, a clicky noise from the back
of your throat... All right, the bastard's still not moving, so
show him the whip and give him a touch of the spur --
|
|
Whoa Neddy! |
OK, let's try that again.
|
|
There! Yes! Much better. Three horses in a line!
Actually, this only happened once during the whole afternoon. Savor
it.
Hmmm, I now seem to be all out of smartass remarks, so I guess
I'll just move right along and get to the rest of the pics.
First, the actors. From left to right, Josh ('Cal'), April ('Crane')
and Maurice ('Milo Caprese').
I'll leave you to figure out on
your own who's in character.
|
And next the crew. TC Lin ("But it's the director's job to
worry..."), Dean ("What in hell are these people doing?")
Shirzi ("You're putting me in charge of horses? Real
horses?? Awright!") and Darrell ("I'm definitely getting
the hang of this now. This is the camera, right?")
|
Yes! The Team Renegade Dream Team. Magic! And before you knew it,
baddabing, baddaboom, and everyone was getting on with the shoot.
|
And off into the sunset they go. (Sunset to be added in post-production).
|
OK, that's a wrap for this installment.
See you next year, folks! Or as Robert the Horse might say: Houyhnhnms!
